Serkan Arslanalp
Last Updated: October 22, 2014Serkan Arslanalp is a Senior Economist in the IMF’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department. He has been contributing to the Global Financial Stability Report since September 2011. He was most recently assigned to Japan to participate in the 2013-14 Article IV consulatations and the 2012 Financial Sector Assessment (FSAP), where he was responsible for banking sector stress tests. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D in Economics from Stanford University. His research interests are international finance, asset pricing, monetary policy, and public finance.
