Luc Everaert
Last Updated: September 20, 2016Luc Everaert is Assistant Director in the Asia Pacific Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in charge of the Japan team. Previously he worked in the Monetary and Capital Markets department on debt and capital market instruments after heading the Euro Area and EU Policies Division. He joined the IMF in 1992 and worked on European transition economies during the 1990s. Subsequently, he took on responsibilities for several advanced European economies and the euro area. Current research interests focus on monetary policy at the lower bound, implications of aging for fiscal and monetary policy, and the role of labor market rigidities.
